2017-11-13

More than 150 volunteers from Tongxiang will provide service for the Fourth World Internet Conference to be held in Wuzhen, according to an official list released by the China Communist Youth League (CYL) Tongxiang Municipal Committee recently.

After applicant interviews, 128 people were chosen to work on the front-line and 26 will work in rear areas.

Li Luxi from the residential committee at Dafa community is on the list this year. She worked in a community patrol in previous Wuzhen summits but this is her first time to join the volunteer team.

"I will try my best to serve the conference in any post", Li says, looking forward to the event.

A total of 1,170 volunteers will serve on the front-line during the three-day conference, most of them coming from colleges of Zhejiang province. They will attend trainings on the WIC and etiquette, and have practice sessions before they start to work, said an official of the CYL Tongxiang Municipal Committee.

The Fourth World Internet Conference (Wuzhen Summit), co-hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of China and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, will be held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province from Dec 3 to 5, 2017.
