So far, nearly 1,600 such projects have been completed in China and are contributing to more than 20 key national economic industries and sectors.
Next, the MIIT plans to step up efforts to promote innovative development of the industrial internet.
That step will strengthen network foundation by promoting 5G internet construction and accelerating 5G coverage in main areas and industries, improve industrial support including speeding up standard establishment of fusion application of 5G and industrial internet and developing customized production, and enrich fusion application like building pilot and demonstration zones. It will also lead to model scenarios and identification of industrial practice cases.
