A full physical system origin quantum learning machine developed by Origin Quantum recently launched its English version.
Guo Guoping, professor at the University of Science and Technology of China, said that the learning machine is currently the only virtual laboratory capable of providing three major quantum computing physical systems and the first bilingual quantum computing learning system to directly benefit global users around the world. It is also the first step for Origin Quantum in talent education.
Based on QRunes - China's first set of quantum language - and QPanda - the country's first quantum computing programming framework, the learning machine can support computing of full-amplitude, single-amplitude, partial-amplitude and noise-containing quantum virtual machines.
Working together with the special quantum language programming platform, the machine can present a vivid conversational communication micro-classroom and lecture users on quantum computing knowledge in an easy-to-understand manner.
Early this year, Origin Quantum released the Origin Pilot, the first domestic quantum computer operating system (OS) in China that can help quantum computers operate efficiently and stably.
At present, the bilingual OS has been deployed to the quantum computing cloud platforms for global users.
According to Guo, Origin Quantum has independently developed specific software such as a quantum computing programming framework, a quantum programming language, a quantum compiler, and a quantum integrated development environment (IDE).
The quantum application software is increasingly used in finance, chemistry and biomedicine.
As the era of quantum computers has arrived, development of user habit of quantum computing is a key issue.
Guo explained that if a user is used to use the Windows OS, it would be hard for them to use the Apple OS and similar awkwardness also occurs when an iPhone user suddenly changes their phone to an Android system.
These issues are all based on habits developed and formed at the very beginning when people were getting used to computers.
He said that similar to developing the classical computers, development of quantum computing should also be promoted step by step, from the hardware, OS, software development kit and language development kit to the cloud platform.
The international community now highly values promotion of quantum computing and development of user habits.
For example, Google and IBM have carried out many online sessions of quantum programming education and there are also many startups participating in development of quantum software in a systematic development mode similar to that of traditional software.
As more and more countries and regions start to value quantum computing technology the demand for talents in the field increases.
A survey shows that there are only 100 or so professionals engaged in quantum computing research and development in China, and there are even fewer experts.
Guo said that the bilingual quantum computing learning machine system is expected to lay a solid foundation for quantum computing education.
