An exhibition not to be missed during the 2nd WIC
The World Internet Conference (WIC) is coming to its second year. Ren Xianliang, deputy minister of Cyberspace Administration of China, briefly introduced the highlights of this year's conference at a press conference on Dec 9.

According to Ren, the exhibition of the country's Internet achievements over the past 20 years and the world's latest technologies and applications, should not be missed.
Ren said, "More than 260 companies from Europe, the United States, the Asia Pacific and Latin America will take part in the exhibition, where Baidu will debut its world-class self-driving car and Volvo will unveil the latest smart-connected car. Visitors will also see Nokia's latest Virtual Reality platform, China's 5G-network technology as well as the high-speed wireless Internet platform developed by the biggest mobile Internet company in Latin America for the upcoming 2016 Rio Olympics."
"Furthermore, small- and medium-sized companies will showcase their innovative projects at the exhibition, and a museum onChina's Internet sector will open for the first time," he added.
The exhibition, co-hosted by national and provincial government bodies, will highlight innovation, coordination, greening, opening and sharing.
